Coffee Anatomy is located at the heart of the cutting edge Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research in Nedlands, Western Australia’s premier adult medical research institute. Our cafe is designed to create a calm, beautifully considered space for food and coffee lovers, researchers, staff, students and visitors alike; proudly supporting the organisation’s culture of collaboration and innovation. We source and roast our own coffee and make our food from scratch, including a wide variety of fresh catering, delivered free anywhere in the QEII Medical Centre. Using organic, seasonal and sustainable local produce, we’ve crafted a menu of mindfully good food and high quality coffee. We are proud to showcase the delights of our chefs, local artisans and producers, and seasonal ingredients, to bring our delicious food to your plate and pantry. Whether you’re dropping by solo, catching up with colleagues, or ordering catering for the whole floor, we’re here to make your day better. A space for a moment of pause - right here in the heart of Harry Perkins.

We’re all about bold, fresh-Mex flavours made just the way you like them. From hand-rolled tortillas and slow-roasted meats to zesty toppings and colourful salads, everything’s made from scratch with the best local ingredients.

At Parlour, coffee isn’t just a drink: it’s a contemplative ritual and a little reminder that you’re always welcome here.

With two Aroma Cafes already on campus, Common Ground was designed as an alternative licensed venue that both students and staff at Curtin University’s Bentley campus feel equally comfortable socialising in. Common Ground’s fitout is casual and modern and food is mostly made to order from a balanced menu that includes our popular vegan pad thai, extensive breakfast options, pastas, burgers, pizzas, loaded fries, bowls, burritos, beer, wine, cocktails and more. Common Ground’s catering menu is our largest amongst the group, providing solutions for both formal and casual BBQs, sundowners, meetings, functions, ceremonies and more.

Our original, award winning brand since 1996 with many locations across Australia. Not your average coffee chain, Aroma Café serves quality, fresh food made in each café’s kitchen from scratch, using traditional recipes based on our strong Italian heritage. We source and select only specialty grade coffee beans from plantations across Central America, South America and Africa, profile roasting each batch individually in order to highlight each crop’s heirloom, region and process flavour characteristics.

Since 2018, Bermuda has provided the best seasonal ingredients and house made food that we possibly can to staff and students at Edith Cowan University’s Joondalup campus. Designed to cater for a largely female and health conscious student base, the grab and go and made to order menus evoke Mediterranean island vibes, with house made vegan falafel, yiros made with a traditional spit, loaded fries, burgers, sandwiches, salads and more. Bermuda’s fitout is bright and breezy and was a finalist in the Best Café Design category at the 2018 National Eat Drink Design awards.

This brand was created in order to provide a quality, modern alternative to cafeterias in TAFE campuses across Australia. The menu is budget friendly, service style is fast and large seating areas are designed with groups of busy students, tradesmen and women and visitors in mind. Espresso Engineers is our internal coffee machine repair and maintenance service. Any of our cafés can receive instant assistance for all things relating to coffee machine equipment, servicing, maintenance and customisations. Ensuring equipment is well maintained is important to get it to perform reliably and extract a superb cup of coffee every time. With this in mind, we have developed an ongoing service program, encompassing periodic inspection, test and part replacement, using only the manufacturer’s genuine replacement parts.

Nine Bars is our coffee sourcing, roasting and distribution company. We regularly travel to Africa, Central and South America to source our favourite coffees. Our experienced roasters profile roast each bean based on each coffees variety and terroir in order to highlight the distinct flavours found at each origin. They then use these flavours to construct unique blends and single origin coffees for each of our brands. Training is also provided throughout all our stores three different ways; in store training, training at the roastery with our roasters and coffee education through our online training platform, which can be accessed by all baristas at any time. By controlling everything from sourcing to roasting to brewing, we can tailor the flavour of each coffee from store to store. As well as coffee, Nine Bars also has a boutique range of delicious teas, drinking chocolate and chai for the non-coffee drinkers. In 2018 Nine Bars was awarded the prestigious Golden Bean Award.

Located in the basement of Building H at Deakin University’s Burwood campus, this café has a loyal following for its burgers, bowls, fresh juices, smoothies and vegan avocado on toast. It recently underwent a fitout refresh, brightening what used to be a dark space and allowing more room for healthier, fresh items to be displayed. Both Food For Thought and Corner Café comply with the university’s Healthy Eating Policy, with green, amber and red items balanced and promoted to customers.

Corner Café is open seven days a week in the busy central library at Deakin University’s Burwood campus, from early morning until late at night. All food is designed to be grab and go, and highly trained baristas are accustomed to producing large volumes of quality coffee at a fast pace. This campus has a high concentration of international students, so items such as matcha tea, rice paper rolls, rice bowls and roti were first introduced and trialled here before being rolled out to other stores.
