The Café Collective is a group of hospitality professionals that are passionate about fresh food, our own roasted coffee and excellent customer service. We are a family business with café operations in healthcare and education campuses across Australia.
We are relentless in our pursuit of quality, healthy and delicious food options for our customers and were very excited when the WA Department of Health released an extensive collection of new green and amber recipes earlier this year. Our team at The Food Hall at Perth Children’s Hospital couldn’t wait to try them all!
This week the team had a go at the Banana & Nut Bars with Turmeric on page 18 of the recipes.
Here’s how it’s made…
The bar was delicious! We handed out samples to our customers who had fantastic feedback and couldn’t wait to see it on our permanent menu.
The bars have a green rating, so they make a great healthy snack option and perfect treat alternative to sugary slices and cakes.
These have been added to our permanent menu for Spring, with some new flavour ideas on their way as well!
